Questions, answered

Can't find your answer? Ask us.
Does OSM PLAYER include channels or films?

No. OSM PLAYER is a media player only. It plays the playlists you add from your own provider, and it does not sell, host or include any content.

Where do I find my MAC address and device key?

Open OSM PLAYER on your TV. The start screen shows your MAC address, your device key and a QR code. You can also find them later in Settings.

How do I add my playlist?

Scan the QR code with your phone, or open Manage playlist on this site and sign in with your MAC address and device key. Add your M3U link or your Xtream Codes details, then press Refresh on your TV.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

The app keeps your playlists, but playback pauses until you activate the device. Activate for a year or for life, whenever you like.

Is the activation per device?

Yes. Each device has its own MAC address and its own activation. Moving to a new TV means activating that TV.

Which payment methods can I use?

Cards (with Apple Pay and Google Pay where available), PayPal, and activation codes from our resellers.

I reinstalled the app and my MAC changed. What now?

Contact support with your old and new MAC addresses and we'll move your activation over.

Which TVs and devices does OSM PLAYER work on?

Samsung Smart TVs (Tizen), LG Smart TVs (webOS), Android TV and Google TV boxes, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Android phones and tablets, and iPhone and iPad. See where to get it.

Does it play Xtream Codes and M3U playlists?

Yes. Add an M3U or M3U8 link, or your Xtream Codes server, username and password. An Xtream login also brings films, series and the TV guide. More about Xtream Codes.

Is there a TV guide (EPG)?

Yes. Xtream Codes playlists bring their guide with them, and for an M3U playlist you can add an EPG link next to it. Live TV then shows what's on now and next.
